This new body of work focuses on Spruill Avenue, a long, winding road up the “Neck”, connecting the carefully curated, tourism driven peninsula to North Charleston. Through this exploration of architectural individuality proliferant on Spruill, I aim to encourage a thoughtful dialogue concerning Charleston's historical significance and the impact of gentrification.
